Importing your data
Move to SBB without retyping anything. The import wizard lives inside each area (Transactions, Products, Customers, Suppliers, Bills, Invoices, Employees) and accepts CSV, Excel (.xlsx), and JSON.
Use the templates
Every wizard has a Download CSV template button with example rows in the exact format the importer expects — the safest path for clean first-time imports.
How the wizard works
- Upload — columns are auto-detected (a mapping screen lets you adjust).
- Review — every row is validated with warnings and errors; the Download issues report names the exact row, column, and problem for anything flagged.
- Import — choose what to create, update, or skip. A result report is downloadable afterwards.
QuickBooks exports
SBB understands QuickBooks Desktop exports natively: the data sheet is found automatically (cover sheets skipped), vendor group headers are filled down, "Total" rows are ignored, and charge-style amount columns ("Paid Amount") are treated as expenses.
Statements
Bank and mobile money statements have their own flow with ledger auto-matching — see Reconciliation.
