SBB Desktop — POS & Inventory for Windows
An installable Windows application for shops, clinics, and supermarkets that need the till to work even when the internet doesn't.
Why the desktop app
- Offline-first: the product catalog lives in a local database. Sales complete instantly, get a provisional receipt, and sync to your SBB account automatically when the connection returns. Duplicates are impossible.
- Real hardware: silent printing to any Windows-installed receipt printer, barcode scanners with zero setup, and fullscreen kiosk mode (F11) for POS touch screens.
- Same account, same books: everything the desktop app records lands in the same SBB business you see on the web.
Install
- Download SBB-Desktop-Setup-x.y.z.exe from the Downloads page.
- Run it — one-click install with desktop and Start-menu shortcuts. If Windows SmartScreen warns, choose More info → Run anyway.
- Launch SBB Desktop and sign in with your SBB email and password. The catalog downloads automatically.
- In Settings, pick your receipt printer and hit Test print.
Daily use
- POS: search or scan, tap products into the cart, complete the sale — a receipt prints immediately. Recent receipts can be reprinted anytime.
- Inventory: live stock table with low-stock highlighting; record stock received or adjustments right at the counter (they queue offline too).
- The sidebar always shows sync state: Online / Offline and how many sales are waiting to sync. Nothing is lost when the power or network drops — everything is on disk.
