AI workflows
Review work arrives as one long undifferentiated list, and long lists do not get cleared. AI workflows sort that backlog into lanes — small batches of similar work you can move through quickly.
Available from guided automation mode upward. See Trust, limits & permissions.
The lanes
Clear now — items with nothing wrong with them. Confident categorisation, matching amounts, nothing missing. Usually the biggest lane and the fastest to empty: skim and confirm.
Blocked before close — anything standing between you and a clean month-end close. Work this lane when the month ends.
Needs evidence — expenses with no receipt attached. Real spending that cannot yet be proven, which matters for tax and for auditors.
Investigate duplicates — entries that look like the same payment recorded twice. Often a MoMo message and a manual entry for one payment. Always check before deleting: two identical payments to the same supplier on the same day is unusual but not impossible.
Guided review — everything needing a judgement call, presented one at a time with the context to decide.
Working a lane
- Open Signals or the AI section of your workspace and pick a lane.
- Run the fast lane for the bulk, or step through guided review for the judgement calls.
- Confirm, correct or reject each item. Corrections teach the AI your preferences — see trusted patterns.
Start with Clear now. Emptying it makes the remaining lanes small enough to feel manageable.
Turning a lane into work for someone else
Some work is not yours to finish. A lane can become a pack — a collected set of items assigned to a person with the context attached:
- Evidence follow-up pack — chase missing receipts, often with staff.
- Duplicate investigation pack — someone verifies before anything is deleted.
- Guided review handoff — send judgement calls to your accountant.
Packs land in Collaboration as real assigned tasks with a thread, so the follow-up is visible instead of living in someone's head.
A sensible rhythm
| When | Lane |
|---|---|
| Daily | Clear now — keep it near zero |
| Weekly | Needs evidence and duplicates while memories are fresh |
| Month-end | Blocked before close, then close the month |
| As needed | Guided review for anything genuinely uncertain |
